Last years event was held for the first time at the new and stunning venue of the Battersea Park Arena and is summarised nicely in this quote from one of last year’s attendees: “I thought it was a fabulous ‘do’. And I’m saying that as someone who has been a bit over-‘bashed’ over the years, not only because of the many ballroom-based industry dinner/dances one has attended, but also over the last 30 years I’ve played in bands that haunted the society market and the major hotel dances to the tune of 90 gigs a year. We’ve been and done the lot; however, the Big Bash stood out a mile."
